3801 - Dallas County Records Building Renovation

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The Dallas County Records Building Complex consists of three buildings: the old Dallas County Criminal Courts Building, the Dallas County Records Building, and the Records Building Annex. This complex is composed of three approximately 7-story buildings built in 1917, 1927 and 1953. It provides offices for several hundred county employees and requires significant structural renovations to bring the buildings up to current structural standards and to meet present-day building codes.  


The $200M renovation project was completed in 2022 and was the largest historic renovation project in Texas. 


Location: DALLAS, TEXAS

Contractor : Datum Engineers.

Organization: HSE contractors INC.

Position: planning and CPM scheduling Consultant.


Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Perform weekly and monthly schedule updates for the construction progress.
  • Propose recovery options to maintain any delays.

EAU CLAIRE FEDERAL BUILDING AND US COURT HOUSE-IRS

Project Description:

  • Minor selective interior demolition to reconfigure and build out an approx. 4,800 sf of new IRS office space,
  • located on the 1st Floor of the Eau Claire Federal Building & US Courthouse. The Tenant Improvement scope of work consists of interior walls & finishes, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and hazardous materials abatement work.


Location: 30 South Dearborn Street-Room 3600-Chicago, IL 60604.

Owner: U.S. General Services Administration

Main-Contractor: IAP- Design and Build , LLC

Organization: HSE contractors INC.

Position: Planning and CPM Scheduling Consultant.


Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Review the project documents.
  • Prepare the Master plan  (Baseline schedule) for the project.



DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS-VARO REPROGRAMMING

Project description:

  • The Sheriff’s House is an urban building located at 10 Market Street, New Castle, Delaware 19720. It is part of the First State National Historical Park and is a contributing structure to the New Castle National Historic Landmark Historic District and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The building will be closed to the public during construction; however, the adjacent New Castle Court House Museum and the New Castle Green are expected to remain fully open and accessible to the public during construction.
  • The work includes rehabilitation of the Sheriff’s House for occupancy and provision of appropriate allocation of the building’s interior spaces for park operations, visitor services, and potentially compatible non-National Park Service (NPS) uses, or a combination thereof. Rehabilitation will consider park and visitor needs, accessibility, resource preservation, and visitor experience. Potential impacts on historic structures and districts are evaluated based on changes to character-defining features of the resources, which are the characteristics of a historic property that qualify the property for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places.
