Project Description: The LAREDO TO NUEVO LAREDO Bridge 2 (LNL2) project is an international rail bridge that will connect the US-Mexico Borders to provide an active railroad between the US and Mexico to transport goods and passengers.
Location: US - Mexico.
Client: Kansas City Southern Lines.
Organization: HSE Contractors INC.
Position: Planning and CPM scheduling Consultant.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- The scope was to create a baseline schedule to cover all the scope on both sides according to the available resources to deliver the project on time. The project plan had many challenges such as extracting permits and resource allocation to cover the project needs.
- Two different contractors will work on the project one for the US side and another one for the Mexico Side and both will work on the international bridge so the coordination between the contractors and how the sequence of work was a big challenge.
