The project includes modifications to the existing lake berm and embankment to create 364 acres of storage area, emergency lake overflow, installation of 8,100 feet of 72-inch diameter pipe to convey stormwater from Salt Creek rehydration area into the new storage lake and accommodate the surrounding properties off-site drainage flows. The project includes earthwork, pond excavation, installation of drainage structures, large-diameter reinforced concrete pipe, lake berm grading, and aquatic plantings.

The Improvements under this Contract consist of replacing the old existing sump pumps alongside with portion of the sump pump floor grating, all panel boxes, automatic grease pump assembly, the existing base plate, the existing 2 motors, the pipes with the pipe hangers and anchors with a new system. The new system contains locate and install new controls, new base assembly for sump pump pipe support, new mobile A-frame crane with chain hoist and new support structure and grating to accommodate new piping system and crane access.

Project description:
The project consists of rehabilitating two buried primary effluent process pipes: a 78-inch Buried Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) and a 96-inch buried RCP. Rehabilitation of the 78-inch line consists of installation of a Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP) liner for approximately 490 feet from the West Primaries Effluent Structure to the North Settled Sewage (SES) Vault. Rehabilitation of the 96-inch line consists of the installation of a CIPP liner for approximately 136 feet from the North SES Vault to the Primary Effluent Junction Box (PEJB), and 10 feet of structural concrete crown repair.
